The Photography Competition will be held in conjunction with MCGM 2026. The theme for the photography competition is "Ageing in Place - Continuity, Community and Care". We believe that visual media is a powerful tool to convey the importance of geriatric medicine and can effectively spread the message to a wider audience. Therefore, we encourage all attendees to participate in this competition and showcase your creative talents to help raise awareness about geriatric medicine.

To facilitate the submission process and the subsequent follow up process, please consider the following general rules:

​

• Photos must be the original work of the participant.

• Participants are responsible for obtaining consent for any subjects appearing in their work.

• The contents of the submissions must comply with local laws.

• Winners will be judged based on quality, relevance, and creativity. The judges reserve the final rights, and no negotiation will be entered into with respect to any such decision.

• The organisers have the permission to use the pictures for other future events organised by them.

• Images must not be created using AI image-generation tools. 
   

Submission Guidelines

 

The file name should start with participant’s first name, followed by an underscore, last name / surname, another underscore, and then the title of your entry.

For example: DavidKaiLun_Tan_Ageing in Place

In the form field, please include the following details:

a) First name

b) Last name / surname

c) Email

d) Contact number
e) Organisation

f) A title of your work (maximum 10 words)

g) A short description of your work (maximum 200 words)

 

Photography:

a) Photos must be in its original state and cannot be altered in any way.

b) Photo must be in JPEG format.

c) Photo must be in 4:3 layout

d) Photo resolution must be minimum 12 MP
