Fundraising Initiative
Extending the impact of care beyond the congress.

At the Malaysian Congress of Geriatric Medicine (MCGM), our commitment extends beyond shared learning and multidisciplinary collaboration to meaningful community impact. In 2026, we are proud to launch our first-ever fundraising initiative in support of two organisations whose work aligns closely with the values of geriatric medicine and community wellbeing.
Delegates may make a voluntary donation during registration. Every contribution, regardless of amount, helps carry the spirit of care and compassion beyond the congress and into the lives of those who need it most.
We warmly invite you to be part of this collective effort. More information about our beneficiary organisations can be found below.

Grace Home Klang is a long-established non-profit organisation dedicated to providing shelter, care, and protection for women in need. Founded in 1980 as Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Grace Klang Selangor Darul Ehsan, it serves as a safe refuge for women who are abused, neglected, homeless, or facing difficult life circumstances, including elderly women without family support. For over four decades, Grace Home has supported thousands of residents by providing food, accommodation, healthcare assistance, and emotional care in a safe and nurturing environment. The organisation continues to rely on public donations, volunteers, and community partnerships to sustain its mission of restoring dignity, comfort, and hope to those in need.

Food4U was founded in 2015 by Uncle Tony and a group of friends with the simple mission of giving back to society by providing hot meals to the homeless and less fortunate living on the streets. Starting with 100 meals distributed once a week, the initiative has grown to providing over 1500 meals weekly, focusing on supporting the homeless, underprivileged, and elderly communities. In 2025, Uncle Tony further expanded the mission by establishing and operating three charity-run shelters for abandoned and homeless elderly individuals, where residents receive meals, medical care, and live in a clean, safe environment at no cost. Food4U also conducts outreach programmes to rural and flood-prone areas in Malaysia, including Orang Asli settlements in Perak and Pahang, by distributing groceries, clothing, and household essentials. In addition, regular donations are made to orphanages, elderly homes, and struggling families through weekly assistance.
